Proverbs 31:28 and 30 read, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her … Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” A very blessed and happy Mother’s Day to all Moms! You have a very important role as ordained by God, and one of the most significant responsibilities as you care for children, teach them vital life lessons and train them in the values of life and godliness.

Please pray for Kim C. and her family, as her dad entered the Lord’s presence last Saturday. Pray for Mrs. C. especially as she moves through the grieving process over the next few months. Praise God for the hope we have in the Savior and His gospel that saves!

Please continue to pray for our missionaries during this pandemic. Caleb Stein informed me that Peru is on a total lockdown with the exceptions of buying food and medical needs. There is no set date as to when the “lockdown order” may be lifted.

There is a special need for the Steins during this time. Since the students are also on lockdown, they need some extra food, which requires extra money. If you would like to help with the need, you can give through their web page ( or you can designate an amount you would like to give in the regular church offering.

Please continue to pray for one another. Certainly the time is growing long, and there are still many questions unanswered. There is a lot of uncertainty and even fears, and the liberal political attacks simply add to the frustration. Pray that truth, justice and righteousness will prevail, that God, in His wrath, will remember mercy and that America will come through this stronger and smarter. Pray that God’s people will be salt and light, and strive to overcome evil with good. In this time of fear, people may be open to listen to the Gospel; share it! And perhaps most important, obey what our Savior said, “Have faith in God,” Mark 11:22.

Our memory verses for May are 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are,” 1 Cor. 3:16-17. I would encourage you to memorize them, and continue to review Gen. 1:1-2, Romans 8:14, 8:16 and 8:26.
